Well, another Flock & Gather has come and gone, and we met some wonderful new friends, ate some delicious treats, and worked alongside many, many skilled craftspeople. At the show, we debuted our new frames, vases, and wine caddies to a great response. For the first time since we started attending F&G, we were able to keep the table open for the whole day! We've sold out early at the last two, but all the preparation that went into this event paid off, as we still managed to hold onto some of our stock for the Cathedral Village Arts Festival in Regina on Saturday, May 23rd. So come on out and visit us. We'll be beside the lovely gals from Salgado Fenwick. It'll be our first hometown show in over a year, and our first time at the Arts Fest, so we hope to see you all there!
The past year has been our first foray into the world of large scale production and commercial work. Two hugely successful runs at Saskatoon's Flock & Gather show, incredible opportunities to work with creative and inspiring clients on custom work, and the chance to work alongside one of the best woodworkers in the world. It's been a humbling year, and 2015 is already shaping up to be another year of measuring and marking the next achievements. We look forward to the upcoming projects and learning opportunities they'll afford.
